ZnO Nano-Rod Arrays Synthesized with Exposed {0001} Facets and the Investigation of Photocatalytic Activity

چکیده

Zinc oxide (ZnO) possesses superior chemical and physical properties so that it can occupy an essential position in the application of nanostructures. In this paper, ZnO nano-rod arrays were synthesized by a simple one-step hydrothermal approach with assistance cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB). Exposure {0001} facets could be controlled adjusting amount CTAB maximum exposure nanorods is obtained at 1.2 g CTAB. The photocurrent, EIS, PL measurements support facile charge transfer minimum recombination photogenerated excitons Consequently, optimal exhibit excellent photocatalytic degradation rate 99.7% for rhodamine B (RhB), while RhB without only 35%.
